Glasgow will host the final stage of the 2025 Lloyds Tour of Britain Women, with this year’s race set to take place on June 5–8, 2025 across north-east England and southern Scotland.
Building on last year’s inaugural elite women’s event, the 2025 event will begin in Dalby Forest before passing through the North York Moors, Tees Valley, Scottish Borders and ending in Glasgow – the first time the UK’s flagship women’s stage race has visited Scotland.
All four stages are new additions to the route, which forms part of the UCI Women’s WorldTour.
The 2025 race will mark debut appearances for host venues Dalby Forest, Redcar, Hartlepool, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Kelso and Glasgow.

Stage breakdown
Stage 1 – Thursday, June 5
Starts in Dalby Forest and crosses the North York Moors National Park, finishing at the coast in Redcar. This marks the race’s first visit to the Tees Valley region.
Stage 2 – Friday, June 6
Takes place entirely within the Tees Valley, beginning at Hartlepool Marina and finishing with two climbs up Saltburn Bank. The 15% gradient will be familiar from previous national road championships.
Stage 3 – Saturday, June 7
A Scottish Borders stage based in Kelso, with a route that includes Melrose and Jedburgh and a finish in the town’s cobbled market square. The route will echo the men’s race 2024 stage.
Stage 4 – Sunday, June 8
Concludes with ten laps of an 8.4km city centre circuit in Glasgow, starting and finishing at Glasgow Green, which will host cycling-themed events throughout the day.
