Turkish Airlines, billed as ‘the airline that flies to more countries than any other’, has become an official partner of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris for the next two years. This year’s marathon will take place on April 13, 2025.
Turkish Airlines Director of Sales Harun Bastürk said “Turkish Airlines’ mission is to bring cultures and communities closer together, connecting 352 international destinations in 131 countries, continues on the field of sports as well.
“With this two-year agreement signed with Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, one of the most prominent marathons in the world, we underline our support for all forms of sports and sportsmanship.”
M Yann Le Moenner, CEO of Amaury Sport Organisation (organiser of Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris) said: “We are delighted to welcome Turkish Airlines as Official Partner of the Schneider Electric Marathon of Paris for the next two years.
“This airline transports travellers and athletes to the four corners of the globe, to the most beautiful capitals, such as Paris. Turkish Airlines will thus contribute, alongside us, to attracting more and more international profiles. Indeed, in 2024, nearly 31% of runners came from abroad, which shows the global scale of our event.”
With its extensive flight network, Turkish Airlines maintains a leading position in the European aviation industry. It currently serves seven destinations in France: Paris CDG, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice, Lyon and Strasbourg.
