Wattbike has unveiled its upgraded Wattbike Atom smart bike, which features a number of product enhancements.
First launched in 2017, with a next generation version released in 2020, the Wattbike Atom features a real-world ride feel, precise power measurement, an electromagnetic resistance system, alongside comprehensive performance data.
Insights from over 2,000 Atom owners, collected in March 2024, played a role in shaping the improvements to the newest version of the indoor smart bike.
In parallel, the free Wattbike Hub training app has undergone an upgrade to help enhance the user’s experience.
Key enhancements of the new Wattbike Atom include:
- Enhanced ERGO Mode: Delivers smoother, more stable resistance adjustments
- Quick-Release Adjustability: Tool-free handlebar and saddle adjustment lets users match their road bike setup, and switch between users, in seconds.
- Performance Saddle: Designed for comfort during long rides, offering a more ergonomic option for both male and female riders.
- Aesthetic Updates: Bold black legs for a modern, premium look that complements the bike’s design.
“Listening to our riders is at the heart of what we do,” said Stephen Loftus, CEO at Wattbike. “The Atom is beloved by thousands of customers worldwide for its unbeatable combination of real-world ride feel, precision, and ease of use.
“These latest updates demonstrate our commitment to continuously improving our products based on what matters most to our riders.”
Andy McCorkell, Head of Product at Wattbike, added “ERGO mode is central to how our customers train, and this upgrade delivers an even smoother, more precise experience.
“We’ve focused on making the Atom more versatile and user-friendly, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of the serious and dedicated cyclists looking for incremental performance improvements.”
The updated Wattbike Atom is available now for £2,495 exclusively through Wattbike.com
