Anytime Fitness partners with Apple Fitness+

Anytime Fitness x Apple Fitness

Anytime Fitness has announced a partnership with Apple Fitness+ to provide its members across the UK and Ireland with complimentary access to Apple’s fitness and wellness service throughout their active gym membership.

The UK and Ireland launch follows earlier implementations of the Apple Fitness+ offering in Australia, Canada, Japan, and the U.S.

The initiative combines 24/7 access to more than 6,000 Anytime Fitness clubs globally with thousands of digital workouts and meditations available on Apple Fitness+.

Starting August 4, 2026, all Anytime Fitness members will receive access to a Fitness+ subscription at no extra cost, administered in three-month recurring cycles through the Anytime Fitness mobile app. Existing Fitness+ users signing up for a 13-month Anytime Fitness membership will receive their first 30 days free.

The launch comes as gym memberships in the UK reportedly reached 18% of the population, with sector revenues rising to £6.5 billion, according to the UK Health and Fitness Market Report 2026 by ukactive.

Sarah Mather, Head of Marketing at Anytime Fitness UK & Ireland, said “Today’s members don’t think about fitness in one location. They move between the gym, home and travel, and they expect their membership to move with them. Adding Apple Fitness+ to membership combines the motivation and guidance of Fitness+ with the support of our clubs, giving members even more ways to stay active and consistent.”

The service includes access to workouts across 12 disciplines – such as Strength, HIIT, Yoga, and Pilates – alongside audio experiences such as Time to Walk and Time to Run.

Rich Peil, Director and Co-Founder at Anytime Fitness UK & Ireland and Australia, said “We’re investing in a model that combines outstanding physical clubs with digital experiences members value to deliver the best member experience in the market. Providing our members with access to the expansive library of Apple Fitness+ content helps them pursue their goals wherever they choose to work out while complementing the experience they already enjoy in our clubs.”

The announcement coincides with Anytime Fitness opening its 6,000th club globally. In the UK and Ireland, the company currently operates 180 clubs, with plans to reach 500 locations within the next five years across franchise network growth and corporate-owned locations.
