Featuring the POWERVIZN Lens System, adidas Sport Eyewear has introduced its spring/summer 2026 (SS26) collection, designed for athletes and active lifestyle users.
The range features two distinct segments: the Performance line, aimed at training and competition, and the Active range, tailored for lifestyle and everyday wear.
The entire SS26 collection incorporates the new POWERVIZN Lens System. According to the company, the technology was developed to deliver sharper clarity, enhanced contrast, and greater visual control across various sporting environments.
Each POWERVIZN lens combines a specialized base tint with High Contrast (HC) Technology, a precision mirror coating to regulate light transmission and reduce glare, and hydrophobic and oleophobic protective treatments designed to repel water, sweat, and dirt.
The colour palette for the SS26 range incorporates matte metalized effects, transparencies, and iridescent finishes. The colours were developed to match adidas athlete race kits for a co-ordinated look.
The Performance line includes three specific models:
- SP0122 KAPHIROS – A lightweight injected rimless frame with a toric lens. It includes a temple ventilation system to enhance airflow and reduce fogging, alongside no-slip rubberized tips, adjustable temples, and adjustable nose pads.
- SP0123 KENTRO – A full-rim style designed for everyday running. It offers a wide lateral view, adjustable temples and nose pads, no-slip rubber details, and an advanced ventilation system. Select versions feature photochromic lenses that adapt to changing light conditions.
- SP0124 ALKATOR – Built for cycling, this model features a bold full-rim design with sharp angles to maximize peripheral vision. It includes thick temples, adjustable nose pads, temple grips, an improved upper front and temple ventilation system, and compatibility with the SP5010-CI optical clip-in.
The Active cluster features two new models:
- SP0125 KLEON – A rectangular frame with bold temples, pressure-point stability, rubber tips, and an upper front/temple ventilation hole system to reduce fogging during outdoor sessions.
- SP0126 DROMEAS – Designed with a slightly oval shape for a feminine look. Features include semi-bold temples, adjustable nose pads, rubber tips, and an improved ventilation system.
