FORM, the specialist in smart swim goggles, has confirmed the launch of Smart Swim 2 LT. This new model serves as an entry point into the FORM Swim System, the brand’s in-water coaching platform designed to guide swimmers through workouts via an ‘augmented reality display’.
Based in Vancouver, Canada, the company aims to make its coaching technology accessible to a wider range of abilities. The coaching system uses HeadCoach, an AI-powered personal coach that generates personalised workouts based on a swimmer’s history and objectives.
The Smart Swim 2 LT provides real-time technique coaching and post-swim analysis. Instructions for warm-ups, main sets, rest intervals, and cool-downs appear directly in the user’s field of vision.

Dan Eisenhardt, founder and CEO at FORM, said “Smart Swim 2 LT represents the next step in making our smart swim coaching more approachable. While our Smart Swim 2 and PRO goggles deliver great advanced features and benefits, LT focuses on simplicity, so swimmers of all abilities can stay present, engaged, build consistency, and enjoy every swim session.”
The introduction of the LT model completes a tiered lineup of goggles:
- Smart Swim 2 LT (US$149) – focused on real-time visibility and guided workouts
- Smart Swim 2 (US$199) – adds integrated heart rate monitoring and expanded real-time metrics
- Smart Swim 2 PRO (US$259) – features premium materials such as Gorilla Glass lenses for enhanced durability and clarity
According to the company, the Smart Swim 2 LT is intended for those who currently swim with a smartwatch or lack a structured training method. The FORM platform provides access to adaptive training plans and coaching insights via both the goggles and the FORM app.
Dan Eisenhardt at FORM said “With LT, we’ve delivered an augmented reality coaching goggle for less than the cost of a decent pair of running shoes, or a couple of hours with a swim coach. At $149, it’s a very compelling proposition, a goggle designed to deliver years of engagement and improvement in the sport we love.”
The goggles are available now and include a carrying case, charging cable, and a five-piece nose bridge set. After an initial free one-month trial, continued access to premium features costs US$9.99 per month, billed annually.
FORM was founded in 2016 and first launched its smart goggles in 2019 to provide real-time visual feedback for athletic performance.
