FORM, the specialist in smart swim goggles, has launched HeadCoach 2.0, a new coaching suite designed to deliver expert-level, personalised swim coaching for triathletes and swimmers of all abilities.
FORM notes that HeadCoach 2.0 uses all elements of its HeadCoach ecosystem to provide data-driven analysis and feedback directly in the FORM App and the FORM Smart Swim Goggles.
After each pool swim, athletes receive tailored feedback, like an on-deck coach would provide, and a specific focus area for their next session, including instructions on how to execute recommended improvements.
The company notes that swimming is a technically demanding sport where real improvement requires focused effort. FORM leverages its extensive dataset of swim technique, gathered from millions of swims, to support its coaching platform.

HeadCoach 2.0 analyses key metrics such as distance per stroke (DPS), stroke rate, pace, heart rate, and FORM Score, alongside FORM’s unique HeadCoach data. The system surfaces the most important element for a swimmer to focus on based on their specific objective, such as ‘Improve My Technique’ or ‘Prepare for a Race’.
- After every swim: HeadCoach analyses the session and provides the most important insight to help the swimmer reach their objective.
- For the next swim: Based on the last swim and objective, HeadCoach provides direction on what to focus on in the next session and how to execute it effectively.
The coaching is adaptive and provides personalised insights across all pool swims, including those completed within HeadCoach Plans, Guided Workouts, or Free Swim mode.

FORM also recently launched the FORM Smart Swim 2 PRO augmented reality goggles, which feature Corning Gorilla Glass for enhanced durability and a permanent fog-free experience.
