ASICS Falmouth Road Race charity programme passes US$90m milestone

ASICS Falmouth Road Race

The ASICS Falmouth Road Race organising team has announced that the event’s Numbers for Nonprofits Program generated US$9.98 million for Massachusetts-based charities following its 54th annual edition.

The figure marks the sixth consecutive year of growth for the fundraising initiative. More than 4,300 runners participated on behalf of over 210 official charity teams during the 2-event, 7-mile seaside race on August 16, 2026 in Falmouth, MA.

Since the establishment of the Numbers for Nonprofits Program in 2000, the initiative has raised more than US$90.38 million for charitable organisations across Massachusetts.

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, serving as the official Legacy Partner of the program, generated over US$1.2 million through the 2026 event. The total brings their cumulative fundraising via the program to US$13.9 million since 2003. Individually, fundraisers Mike Carroll and Melanie Carroll raised a combined total of over US$114,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association, representing the highest individual fundraising total for the 2026 event.

Andrea Norris, Program Manager for the Numbers for Nonprofits Program, said “Charity runner programs drive such significant fundraising across the country, and the Numbers for Nonprofits Program stands out as one of the most successful. Besting our total dollars raised each year leads to major impacts for the charities in our state who utilize the ASICS Falmouth Road Race as a platform for their important work.”

Established in 1973, Falmouth Road Race operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation that organises the annual 7-mile race in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Since 2011, the organisation has returned over US$6.1 million directly to the local community through capital project funding – including local high school track developments and senior centre equipment – alongside educational scholarships, community grants, and local event sponsorships.
