French cycling and outdoors brand Café du Cycliste and climbing-inspired carry brand Topologie have launched a joint capsule collection.
Inspired by alpinism and developed for urban mobility, the collection takes its graphical cues and colours from 1990s road racing. The range, which includes a superlight aero jersey and variations on the Topologie Bottle Sacoche with modifications for use as a handlebar bag, is designed to transition from race day to randonnée. All bags and accessories are compatible with the company’s Topologie Wares System, meaning the pieces can be mixed and matched with other Topologie straps and bags.
According to the brands, the collaboration is themed as the signature kit and luggage of Ventoux Race 2026, a gravel race on the iconic Mont Ventoux that starts and finishes at the Café du Cycliste store in Bédoin, France. The distortion on the designs alludes to the summer heat haze on Ventoux and the way that extreme effort when racing can cloud the vision.
Born on the roads of the Côte d’Azur in 2009, Café du Cycliste creates technical and lifestyle products that are predominantly made in Europe, using recycled and sustainable materials where possible. It operates a network of stores in Nice, Paris, Mallorca, Bédoin, and Munich.
Topologie, which was founded in 2018 by rock climbing enthusiasts from France and Japan, blends climbing gear design with fashion to craft functional products for everyday use.
Rémi Clermont, Founder and Creative Director at Café du Cycliste, said “I’ve always admired how Topologie does things differently, and how it brings its outdoor heritage into a fashion context. As soon as I saw the Topologie range, I thought, wow, this would be perfect on a bike! There’s so much connection between the brands that naturally it looks to me like Topologie’s stuff was designed for our world. Café du Cycliste has always been cycling first, but the outdoors above everything, and climbers really share our punk Forever Outsiders spirit.”
The Café du Cycliste x Topologie lineup includes the Bergida superlight cycling jersey, Ambre long-sleeved technical T-shirt, medium and large Bottle Sacoches, a musette, 8mm wrist and crossbody straps, a phone strap adapter, a bandana, tie-dye socks, and a bidon.
