Following the launch of the Endurace CFR, Canyon has announced the addition of next-generation Endurace CF SLX and Endurace CF bikes to its lineup. The new models complete the updated Endurace family, positioned as aero-optimised bikes with an all-day fit suitable for all-road riding.
Pricing for the new range reflects a shift in the brand’s entry points for carbon endurance bikes. The Endurace CF now starts at €1,699 for the CF 5 model, which represents a more accessible price point than previous carbon iterations. For the higher-specification CF SLX range, prices start at €3,999 for the Endurace CF SLX 7 AXS.
The Endurace CF SLX has been developed as a standalone platform. While it shares aerodynamic DNA with the racing-focused CFR model, the CF SLX is designed as a complete all-road endurance bike. According to the company, it recorded 209 watts of drag at 45km/h in wind tunnel testing, which it claims to be faster than many World Tour race bikes.
Key features of the CF SLX include 38mm tyre clearance and a sport geometry that offers a higher stack and shorter reach compared to Canyon’s Aeroad or Ultimate bike offerings. The CF SLX also features the SP093 VCLS Aero seatpost, which is engineered to increase vertical compliance by over 25% compared to a rigid equivalent.
The frame includes an integrated Load Down Tube Storage system and is compatible with the Defend Fast Fender system. Across the range, 165mm cranks are now standard on size M frames to support a more open hip angle.
The Endurace CF serves as the more accessible carbon option in the Canyon road range. It features a carbon frame weighing less than 1,000g and maintains the 38mm tyre clearance seen on the higher-tier models. Select versions are equipped with the VCLS 2.0 leafspring seatpost to absorb road vibrations.
The Endurace CF also includes top tube and frame bag mounts for storage on long-distance rides. Like the SLX version, it features progressive contact points including shorter cranks and narrower handlebars on smaller frame sizes.
Both the Endurace CF SLX and CF are available in a seven-size range from 2XS to 2XL. All CF SLX models are equipped with electronic shifting and carbon wheels. The CF line-up includes a mix of mechanical and electronic drivetrain options with both carbon and aluminium wheel builds.
