Following its first edition in the UTMB World Series this year, which featured 2,200 participants from 62 nationalities, Oh Meu Deus by UTMB has opened registrations for its 2027 event.
The event will take place from April 30 to May 2, 2027 in Seia, Portugal. Registrations opened for UTMB Index holders on August 4, 2026, with general registration opening on August 6, 2026.
Taking place in the Serra da Estrela mountains, mainland Portugal’s highest mountain range, the event aims to showcase the region to an international community of trail runners.
With an increased capacity for 2027, Oh Meu Deus by UTMB is expected to attract around 3,000 people to the area.
The event offers four distances, with each race contributing to the UTMB Index and awarding Running Stones for qualification towards the UTMB World Series Finals:
- OMD 100M – 4 UTMB Running Stones
- OMD 100K – 3 UTMB Running Stones
- OMD 50K – 2 UTMB Running Stones
- OMD 20K – 1 UTMB Running Stones
The event is built in cooperation with local municipalities, regional development partners and Turismo Centro de Portugal to highlight the territory internationally.
