Parcours has introduced the Strade GT, the first wheelset in its new GT Series, featuring a structural vibration dampening technology called VibraCORE. Developed in collaboration with Lineat and Nottingham Trent University, the technology integrates reclaimed aligned carbon fibre directly into the rim’s spoke bed in order to reduce ‘road buzz’.
VibraCORE utilizes Lineat’s Aligned Formable Fibre Technology (AFFT) to absorb and dissipate vibrational energy before it reaches the rider. According to the company, testing conducted with Nottingham Trent University showed a reduction in RMS (Root Mean Square) vibrational energy of between 19%–23% compared to an equivalent rim without the technology.
Parcours states that this effect is comparable to lowering tyre pressure by 10–15psi, but without the typical trade-offs in rolling efficiency or handling precision. The technology specifically targets high-frequency vibrations associated with muscular fatigue.

The rim profile is an evolution of the existing Strade wheel platform, with aerodynamics and stability optimised around a 30mm tyre. The new model reportedly outperforms the current Strade aerodynamically by 3.2W at 48kph and improves handling stability by 15%.
The wheelset features a total weight of 1,130g, aided by the use of Alpina Carbolite carbon spokes (21F/24R). These were selected for their narrow bladed cross-section, which provides compliance similar to a steel spoke while reducing overall weight.
VibraCORE also introduces a sustainability element to the range. The reclaimed carbon fibre used in the AFFT process allows recovered material to be deployed in a performance-critical application. Parcours adds that it is developing a cyclical pathway to reprocess carbon from its own legacy wheels for use in future VibraCORE components.

Based in the UK, Parcours was founded to make aerodynamic wheel technology more accessible through data-driven research and development. The brand partners with athletes such as triathletes Lizzie Rayner and Fabien Kraft, and the Alba Development Road Team.
The Strade GT wheelsets become available to order from April 9, 2026.
