Supertri has partnered with national governing body USA Triathlon (USAT) to provide elite-level racing opportunities at Ascension Seton Supertri Austin.
The event in Texas, scheduled for May 25, 2026, will serve as a qualification round for six athletes to reach the Supertri Pro Series Final, which features a US$800,000 prize pool.
The collaboration allows USA elite athletes to compete against international professionals. Three athletes per gender will qualify for the series final during the Austin event.
This announcement further strengthens the relationship between Supertri and USA Triathlon. It follows recent confirmation that Supertri events in Long Beach, CA, and New Jersey will host rounds of the USA Paratriathlon Nationals Qualifier Series.
The Supertri Pro Series is also providing development pathways in other regions. Supertri Blenheim Palace is part of the British Triathlon Super Series, while Supertri Toronto is hosting a stage of the Triathlon Canada National Development Series.
The Austin event is part of the broader Ascension Seton Supertri Austin weekend, allowing amateur competitors to race on the same course and over the same distances as the elite field.
Supertri Pro Series events are draft-legal, sprint-distance races. With the aim of encouraging growth within the sport, prize money is awarded to the top 10 finishers.
The 2026 Supertri Pro Series schedule:
- Ascension Seton Supertri Austin, USA – May 25, 2026
- Supertri Blenheim Palace, UK – June 7, 2026
- Supertri Toronto, Canada – July 26, 2026
