HYROX, the fitness racing series, has announced the next wave of its global race calendar for the 2026/27 season, detailing events scheduled from January to June 2027.
To accommodate growing athlete demand, the organisation is increasing its competition windows by expanding from traditional one–two day formats into long-form residencies lasting up to 10 days in select major markets.
According to HYROX, the upcoming 2026/27 season is projected to welcome more than 2 million athletes across 107 race weekends spanning six continents. This follows a 2025/26 season that delivered more than 200 days of racing and reportedly involved over 1.5 million participants.
The series will return to established destinations such as Amsterdam and Beijing while introducing several new host hubs, including San Diego, Portland, Bari, and Nagoya.

“We’re excited to return to many of our iconic destinations while welcoming new host cities, giving athletes even more opportunities to compete and plan their season. This is another important milestone in our mission to make fitness racing more accessible to communities around the world.”
The schedule features the expansion of HYROX Youngstars youth competitions into North America to support youth participation. The full international circuit will culminate at the HYROX World Championships in Hong Kong on June 10–13, 2027.
Ticket sales are scheduled to begin at the end of July 2026 for each respective region.
Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX is a standardised fitness race that combines eight 1km runs with eight functional workout stations. The event ecosystem now operates across more than 30 countries and includes training clubs, professional elite divisions, and youth programming.
