VAN RYSEL, the premium cycling brand from Flanders, has introduced THE ACE, which is positioned as an ultra-limited-edition collection built around its new RCR-G bike. Designed to handle both paved roads and unpaved terrain, the RCR-G comes supplied with both gravel and road wheelsets, allowing riders to switch between surfaces on a single platform.
The RCR-G frame is constructed from high-modulus carbon and features a paint finish with a Raptor coating. It is built with a Shimano Ultegra R8170 Di2 groupset and a Deda Combo RCR-R carbon handlebar, as used on the RCR-R Pro bike by the Decathlon – CMA-CGM World Tour Team.
To offer multi-surface capability, the bike comes equipped with two distinct wheel and tyre packages. The gravel setup features Swiss Side Gravon 500 wheels fitted with 40mm Vittoria T30 tyres, while the road setup utilises VAN RYSEL VR 50 wheels paired with 28mm Continental GP5000S TR tyres.
The new bike anchors THE ACE collection, which is inspired by the concept of ‘outranking its opponents’. The limited-edition capsule was showcased at the Sea Otter Europe event in Girona, Spain, which took place on September 18–20, 2026.
Alongside the bike, VAN RYSEL points out that THE ACE collection includes a range of cycling gear and apparel:
- RCR-F helmet – wind-tunnel tested, featuring Mips technology and Flip & Clip sunglasses storage
- RCR-R shoes with SPD adapter – combining the fit of the RCR-R road shoe with an SPD adapter for off-road versatility
- KWARE category 3 sunglasses – designed for eye protection and road riding style
- EDR ULTRA jersey (unisex) – a light, breathable jersey with storage space for longer rides
- EDR ULTRA shorts (men’s and women’s) – featuring an Elastic Interface pad, soft breathable fabric, and cargo pockets
- EDR socks – designed for optimal performance and comfort
THE ACE collection launched on September 18, 2026, at 10:00 CEST / 09:00 BST across European markets. Recommended retail pricing across the collection includes:
