Hayden Wilde will line up against Olympic champion Alex Yee at the Supertri Pro Series Final in Jersey on September 6, 2026. The race marks the first time the pair have competed head-to-head in a year.
Organised by Supertri, the event will also feature reigning world champion Matt Hauser. The trio will compete for a share of an US$800,000 prize purse, which is billed as the largest single-day prize fund in triathlon this season.
Wilde and Yee last shared a start line at WTCS French Riviera on August 31, 2025. Prior to that, the two met at the Supertri Grand Final in NEOM on November 3, 2024, where Yee outsprinted Wilde by one second, though Wilde secured the overall 2024 Supertri series title. The pair also took gold and silver respectively at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Following the 2024 season, Yee stepped away from short-course racing to focus on running, recording a time of 2:11:08 at the London Marathon. Wilde spent time recovering from a bike accident in 2025 before shifting focus to longer distance events. In their absence, Australia’s Matt Hauser won the 2025 WTCS Championship in Wollongong, Australia.
The women’s race features Olympic champion Cassandre Beaugrand, alongside Georgia Taylor-Brown, reigning Supertri champion Jeanne Lehair, and former European champion Jolien Vermeylen.

The Pro Series Final features Supertri’s format of three continuous, back-to-back rounds of swimming, cycling, and running. Jersey previously hosted Supertri events in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2025.
