XENOM, which is positioned as a new stadium-scale fitness competition described as the ‘Decathlon of Fitness’, has announced its international launch.
The series, which focuses on a fixed 10-event format and which aims to provide a repeatable benchmark for functional fitness, has secured US$15 million in seed financing led by WndrCo, the investment firm founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg and Sujay Jaswa.
The inaugural competition is scheduled for June 27–28, 2026, at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX, the world headquarters and training complex of the Dallas Cowboys. A second event will take place in London, UK, on August 29–30, 2026, followed by competitions in Miami, FL, and Paris, France.
The company has also entered into a license as a CrossFit Partner Event Series and has signed Rogue Fitness as a foundational partner and long-term equipment supplier.
In a release, XENOM noted that… ‘CrossFit has transformed global training culture. Millions now train across strength, endurance, and high-skill disciplines. Yet competitive formats in the space often vary year on year, with changing workouts, race style structures, varying scoring systems, and limited access to elite level arenas and experiences.’
Unlike functional fitness events where workouts can change annually, XENOM uses a consistent format and a cumulative ‘Elite Performance Index’ scoring system. This allows athletes to measure their progression and compare scores globally year after year.

XENOM Season 1 is planned to include 11 competitions across the US and Europe, with a long-term roadmap to scale to 60 events globally. Each two-day competition will look to host 2,000 athletes who will be tested across 10 fixed events covering strength, endurance, and technical skill. Details of each of the 10 XENOM event formats will be released in the coming weeks.

Keith Barlow, Founder and CEO of XENOM said “We see an incredible opportunity to build a global competition which reenergizes and meets the huge unmet demand from people training in boxes, garages, and gyms around the world, for a complete standardized test including traditional endurance, gymnastics, weightlifting and combined metabolic conditioning.”
Athletes can compete in three divisions – Elite, RX, and Compete – as individuals or in same-sex pairs. To mark the launch, the series organiser is releasing 250 free competition spots via a 14-day ballot entry process, which opened on February 27, 2026. Following the ballot, early bird individual entry is priced at US$500, with pairs at US$450 per person.

Keith Barlow is a long-standing member of the functional fitness community and a CrossFit Level 2 trainer. His vision for the series is to provide a professional, stadium-level experience for everyday athletes who train in affiliates and gyms worldwide.
Sujay Jaswa, Managing Partner at WndrCo said “Fitness has become a sport category with true mainstream reach, and we believe XENOM will be the benchmark for elite fitness. We are excited to bring our network and operating experience to scale the series to the world’s best athletes in every geography.”
