Global designer and manufacturer of sports precision instruments, Suunto has confirmed its partnership with XTERRA as the official timing sponsor of the XTERRA Championships.
According to the company, XTERRA chose Suunto as the official timing sponsor of its off road triathlons and trail running series ‘due to its long-standing tradition in accuracy, precision and support of endurance sports.’
Suunto is providing the official timing support for four key events at the end of 2010, including:
18 September 2010 – XTERRA Trail Running Nationals, Bend, Oregon
25 September 2010 – XTERRA USA Championships, Snowbasin Resort, Utah
24 October 2010 – XTERRA World Championships, Maui, Hawaii
5 December 2010 – XTERRA Trail Run World Championship, Oaha, Hawaii
Suunto athlete and top XTERRA competitor Conrad Stoltz is poised to dominate the remainder of the 2010 XTERRA season. Stoltz is a two-time Olympian, a three-time XTERRA triathlon World Champion, seven-time XTERRA USA Series Champion and has a total of 32 XTERRA titles throughout his career.
