General entry for the Mooloolaba Triathlon, which, earlier this year, was brought into the Ironman family, is now full.
The Mooloolaba Triathlon is organised by USM Events – Australia’s leading event management company and the company behind the iconic premier multisport festivals at Noosa, Cairns, Mooloolaba and Geelong. In February 2012 USM Events was acquired by Ironman brand owner World Triathlon Corporation (WTC).
It’s been a big week for the Ironman family in Australia. On Tuesday, the Noosa Triathlon filled in record time and on Wednesday the Mooloolaba event also reached capacity. While general entry for the Mooloolaba Triathlon is full, charity individual places are still available, along with team and other festival events.
Set in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Mooloolaba is just 97km north of Brisbane. The Triathlon Festival takes place from 15-17 March 2013. In addition to the Mooloolaba Triathlon, the weekend also includes The Subaru Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon World Cup, the Northside Party Hire Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon Premium Oceana Cup, the Asics Mooloolaba Twilight 5K Run, the Mooloolaba Ocean Swim and the Mooloolaba Superkidz Triathlon.
