Geared toward athletes, coaches, club and race directors, guides, handlers and anyone else interested in learning more about the blossoming sport of paratriathlon, USA Triathlon (USAT) is kicking off its first-ever Paratriathlon Webinar Series, on 5 February at usatriathlon.org/webinars.
A free webinar, ‘Paratriathlon 101’ will be available for archived viewing on 5 February, followed by six additional live webinars running through to 10 April. Individual webinars are available for US$14.99 each; and the entire series (live or archived) costs US$85.

As noted by USAT, interest in paratriathlon is at an all-time high. The sport continues to grow following the December 2010 announcement that it will debut at the Paralympic Summer Games in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
A leader on the international paratriathlon scene, the United States recently won the medal count at the 2012 ITU Paratriathlon World Championships with 13 medals.
