As Australia enters its winter season, Orca has developed a full range of winter training gear, available in Australia for the first time, and designed ‘to help you control the elements, whatever the weather throws at you.’ The Orca Winter 2008 Collection is available through Orca retailers around Australia.
The winter range includes outer layer tops, including the Active Jacket and Vest. Constructed from Orca Re-Charge fabric, an anti-bacterial, bonded construction wicks away moisture from inside, whilst protecting from the elements outside. The company’s Track Jacket is for changeable conditions, with a quick dry shell, and breathable full mesh lining.
There are mid layer garments including the Active Fleece, with its high-density, breathable and anti-pilling fleece, as well as the long sleeve Sportive Top, for indoor or outdoor training. Worn under other garments, or used as a training top, the short and long sleeve Thermic Tops use an advanced thermal fabric to help regulate body temperature. There are also base layer full length tights for men and women, which utilise the Orca Form compression fabric to help maintain optimum muscle performance. A 3/4 length option is also available for women.
Finally there is the women specific Zen Pant – a lifestyle focused produce for yoga, pilates, or going to the gym. The Zen Pant is made from a stretch knit fabric and features the classic yoga-style boot leg cut.
