New Challenger wetsuit from Aqua Sphere

Expanding its 2014 wetsuit range, Aqua Sphere has unveiled its new Challenger wetsuit – available in male and female versions. According to the company, the Aqua Sphere Challenger ‘brings together high end neoprene and top end technology’ to the UK multisport market for under £250 (£249.99 SRP).

‘Designed for the Competitor level triathlete’, the Challenger is billed as being fast, comfortable and flexible. With quality high stretch neoprene throughout, features include catch panels on the forearms to increase water pull during each stroke, as well as easing entry and exit of the suit.

Different thicknesses of neoprene around the suit include key panels under the arms, which aid and stretch for ‘max dexterity of movement’. According to Aqua Sphere, its patent pending Bio-Stretch Zone offers up a strategically placed 1mm stretch zone that allows for the max range of motion

Quick transition panels at the ankles offer up a fast removal in transition. Meanwhile, a deep pull zipper aims to ease removal of the wetsuit.

  • Material: Super stretch Yamamoto 39, SCS Coated
  • Aqua-Grip cuffs and Aqua-Flex collar seal to keep water out
  • Quick release ankle transition panels
  • Thermo-Guard 4ml core body panel to retain body heat
  • Power-Zone forearm panels increase traction during the pull phase of your stroke
  • Quick-drying
  • 100% UV protection
  • Easy-pull deep back zipper
