The Jenson Button Trust Triathlon has confirmed a second wave of brand partners for the 2014 triathlon, which takes place on Saturday 12 July at the 5-star Luton Hoo Hotel and estate in Bedfordshire, UK.
New partners confirmed include MaxiNutrition, SNO Glacier Water and Compex. These join the already confirmed Santander, Mobil1, Huub, CELIA Lager, Triathlonguard, Rookie XS and Rudy Project.
MaxiNutrition will be bringing a nutrition recovery zone to the event village for the third year running and will also be contributing to the competitor pack. SNO Glacier Water will be providing free water for all athletes; and Compex, the leader in electro muscle stimulation, will be bringing a muscle recovery zone offering free treatments to all competitors.
Jenson Button has also released the latest in his series of training tips, this time discussing the cycling element of triathlon.
Now in its third year, the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon is a unique event. It combines competition with a relaxed festival atmosphere; it has a true family feel with a buzzing event village, post-race party with prizes presented by Jenson, live music and a barbeque.
The 2014 event will give competitors the chance to race twice, with the preliminary heat consisting of a 300m lake swim, 9K bike ride and 2.5K run. The top performers will then go on to the final (750m swim, 15K bike ride and 2.5K run) with the runners up entering the ‘wooden spoon’ race.
