The Body Glove SURGE Grand Prix has announced the first round leaders in the competition to determine ‘Chicagoland’s fastest triathletes at the Olympic distance’.
The Body Glove SURGE Grand Prix offers triathletes who compete in Leon’s Triathlon and at least one other event in the Chicagoland Tri Series the opportunity to win cash and prizes totalling over US$3,000.
PacificHealth Laboratories – the business behind Accelerade, Accel Gel and Endurox – recently announced that Body Glove SURGE, the company’s all-natural energy shot, will be a presenting sponsor for Leon’s Triathlon. The Body Glove SURGE brand has since extended its sponsorship engagement to the Body Glove SURGE Grand Prix with prizes and cash up for grabs for participation in events in the Chicagoland Tri Series, of which Leon’s Triathlon is a part.

The Body Glove SURGE Grand Prix involves three major triathlons in the US. These are: Leon’s Triathlon, the ITU World Triathlon Chicago event on 27 June and the Transamerica Chicago Triathlon on 24 August.
The Body Glove SURGE Grand Prix will offer prize money and gear totalling over US$3,200 to the three male and female winners with the fastest time, as well as winners in specific age groups. To be eligible, triathletes must complete two of the three Olympic distance courses, with one of the races being Leon’s.
