Continuing its TV broadcast collaboration with Channel 4 in the UK, Dream Team Television has confirmed two more endurance events that will be hitting UK airwaves this weekend. The Hever Castle Triathlon will be on Channel 4 this Saturday 18 October at 07:00 GMT and Channel 4 +1 at 08:00. Meanwhile, the Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon will be on Channel 4 this Sunday 19 October 07:00 and Channel 4 +1 at 08:00.
Hever Castle Triathlon
The final event in the Castle Triathlon Series this year took place at Hever Castle in Kent. The event features elite competition and incorporates the world’s largest children’s triathlon. This spectacular setting was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and makes a perfect backdrop for a weekend long triathlon festival featuring races of all distances from super sprint to the middle distance ‘Gauntlet’ event.
The Hever Castle Triathlon show on Channel 4 continues a recent broadcasts of Castle Triathlon Series events; it will be presented by Rob Walker.
Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon
After a strong debut year in 2013, this popular and picturesque event returns to the walled city of York in 2014. As the biggest marathon in the white rose county, it promises to be a treat for viewers and participants alike. The show is presented by Rob Walker and Katharine Merry.
