Following a year of record-breaking and history-making sporting performances, Universal Sports Network presents Podium360 Rewind ’14 presented by Netflix this Friday 19 December at 20:00 ET.
From skiing and track & field to rugby and cycling, Podium360 Rewind ’14 will cover the year’s best moments in Olympic, endurance and action sports culminating with one performance topping the podium as Universal Sports’ favourite moment of 2014.
The year-end special edition of Podium360, the network’s regularly scheduled highlights program, will turn back the clock to relive the most memorable moments, dominating wins, greatest comebacks and emotional victories from the past twelve months.
Memorable moments include Michael Phelps’ and Lindsey Vonn’s comebacks and sport dominating performances by Kerri Walsh Jennings (beach volleyball), Gwen Jorgensen (triathlon), teenager Katie Ledecky (swimming), Ted Ligety (alpine skiing) and Dennis Kimetto at the Berlin Marathon.
Following the year-in-review special which airs though 4 January, Podium360 will begin airing weekly starting on Thursday 8 January at 19:30 ET. The half-hour highlight show features a comprehensive review of the most exciting stories, races and victories of the world’s best Olympic and endurance athletes and teams in their quests to reach the podium.
