The Rise Above Sportive – which rides across Cheshire, Chester and North Wales on 9 August 2015 – has confirmed that Science in Sport (SiS) is on board as the Official Nutrition Partner for the event.
The Rise Above Sportive is Mark Cavendish’s official sportive with three routes designed by the Etixx-Quick Step rider. SiS will provide sports nutrition, advice and support for participants on the event.
Mark Cavendish MBE, one of Britain’s most successful road cyclists, is an Elite Consultant for SiS along with Sir Chris Hoy MBE.
SiS will support three feed stations en-route as well as providing pre-filled bottles of SiS GO Energy and SiS GO Electrolyte at the start, and SiS REGO Rapid Recovery to help riders recover straight after finishing.
