The Jenson Button Trust Triathlon has a Team Challenge for the event this July – thanks to sponsorship from the Derby office of Midlands business advisors and accountants Smith Cooper. The Jenson Button Trust Triathlon has also confirmed a new partnership with Pentahotel Derby – which offers race participants the opportunity to receive discounted hotel accommodation.
Teams of three people (either all male, all female or mixed) can enter the Team Challenge as part of the Triathlon on Sunday 12 July.
Each member will tackle one of the three triathlon stages. The Team Challenge will consist of the first person swimming 200m, then handing over to their teammate who will cycle 10K and finally the third member completing a 2.5K run. Each team will get to race twice – once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
Team members will all receive a medal and a goody bag as well as one signed race t-shirt per team from Jenson Button, which they can display in their workplace or home.
A special VIP and corporate tent will be erected in the event village on the park where team members can relax, enjoy a post-race massage and soak in the atmosphere with food, drink, live music and prizes to be presented by Jenson Button.
A team entry will cost £250 and competitors are encouraged to raise as much money as possible between them for the triathlon’s official charity partner, Cancer Research UK.
The Jenson Button Trust Triathlon’s new partnership with Pentahotel Derby will ensure competitors needing hotel accommodation will receive a ‘fantastically discounted rate’ for the weekend of 12 July 2015.

These rates include breakfast, VAT and use of the 24hr on site gym. Check in will be from 15:00 BST and check out is from noon the following day. For an additional £10 per night, competitors will be able to upgrade to Penta Plus room.
Pentahotel offers a gateway to Derby’s business district and all the city’s attractions. It is a short walk to the city centre and a short drive to the triathlon venue in Markeaton Park. Parking will be available at the hotel for £3 per day, whilst parking at the triathlon venue will be provided for free.
