Agnieszka Jerzyk, the Polish elite triathlete, is getting ready to start her campaign towards the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. In tandem with her international travels on the ITU circuit, for the second year she has been an ambassador for one of the biggest and fastest growing triathlon series in Poland – the Enea Tri Tour.
The Enea Tri Tour series combines nine events across Poland. Eight of the nine events count towards the Polish Triathlon Championships in various categories and distances. The organizer of the EneaTriTour is the head of Endusports – Wojciech Kruczy?ski – who has supported Agnieszka Jerzyk in recent years. Both the Enea Tri Tour and Endusports are backing Jerzyk in her endeavours to win an Olympic medal.
One of the biggest events organized by Endusports in Poland is Triathlon Poznan, which in 2015 is under the banner of Challenge Family. (At the end of 2014 the newly branded Challenge Pozna? event had a further boost when Challenge Family and the European Triathlon Union (ETU) confirmed Challenge Pozna? in Poland as the host for the 2016 ETU European Long Distance Triathlon Championships.)
The city of Pozna? is seen as core hub for Polish triathlon. With 2,600 participants, Pozna? offers up the biggest triathlon event in Poland, and an increasingly important event in Europe.
