Enthusiasm for the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon does not look like subsiding any time soon, as the organizing team at A.S.O. has confirmed that next year’s event has already hit capacity – with ‘57,000 registrations in record time’.
The 40th edition of the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon will take place on 3 April 2016, with the event start, as is customary, on the Champs-Elysées.
A.S.O. notes that the total number of runners who have reserved their race number has never been so high. The company adds that the event in the French capital has ‘reinforced its place in the top three of the most popular marathons in the world.’
22,000 competitors reserved and ensured their race numbers in April during the first phase of registrations; and registrations for the 2016 Schneider Electric Paris Marathon are now closed. The organizers add that a sell-out in October has now been achieved for the first time.
