Cleatskins ProBikeskins protect bike cleats

Cleatskins has introduced new cleat protection products that allow cyclists to walk normally when off the bike, and at the same time protecting the cyclist’s cleats. ProBikeskins remain in place on the cycling shoe, even while riding: a strap is flipped across the shoe and the cleat is covered.

Cleatskins ProBikeskins provide traction, comfort, and ease of movement without heel-walking. The accessory is billed as a perfect cleat protector for the rider, shoes and the surface walked on.

To use, the cyclist simply positions the ProBikeskin pad over the cycling cleat. For riding, the toe strap is simply rolled off the heel of the bike shoe and pulled back, where it will comfortably rest throughout the ride.

Cleatskins ProBikeskins come in a wide array of colours including: Yellow, True Blue, Black, White, and Red.

ProBikeskins are cleat specific and designed to fit the cleat perfectly. Cleat-specific variants include:

  • SP-ProBikeskins for Speedplay cleats
  • SM-ProBikeskins for Shimano cleats
  • LK-ProBikeSkins for Look cleats
  • TM-ProBikeskins for Time cleats

Cleatskins will be at Interbike in Las Vegas in September, where the company will debut its range of products – including its full coverage Bikeskins for all types of cleats.

Each Cleatskins variant protects the cleat and provides traction, and produces a softer more comfortable heel-toe stride when walking.
