Cycling Active Magazine, the subsidiary publication of the 125 year old Cycling Weekly, has named the Rudy Project Tralyx as the ‘Best on Test’ when compared to ten other high-end performance sunglasses brands.
The line-up of glasses, which included the Oakley Radar EV Path Polarized and the Bollé 6th Sense, were tested over all types of weather conditions, and compared by key features such as lenses and fit.
“The Tralyx proved to be the best glasses on test in terms of fit,” wrote Cycling Active Gear Editor Jamie Darlow. “I forgot I was wearing them on more than one occasion, dropping them when taking my helmet off after a ride. Cycling Active tested the ten pairs of glasses in the sun, then during increasingly wet and windy autumn and winter rides. The sunglasses were also paired with a number of road and mountain helmets to get a feel for how each felt with different lid set-ups, and were even taken off-road to see how they each handled the mud.
