Clif Bar & Company, the maker of CLIF Bar energy bar, has announced a three-year sponsorship agreement as the Official Sports Energy Bar and Gel Supplier of the 2016 Prudential RideLondon beginning this year.
Billed as the ‘World’s Greatest Festival of Cycling,’ Prudential RideLondon will see more than 100,000 participants cycle more than three million miles over the weekend of 30-31 July 2016.
“We’re passionate about cycling and as the Official Sports Energy Bar and Gel Supplier of the 2016 Prudential RideLondon we’re excited to share our great-tasting foods with cyclists when they need it most,” said Kevin Cleary, CEO of Clif Bar & Company.

As part of the agreement, CLIF Bar energy bars, CLIF BLOKS energy chews and CLIF SHOT energy gels will be available on-course during the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 and at the Festival Zone during the Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle event.
Going forwards, CLIF Bar will also be at the Cycling Show at ExCeL London, positioned as ‘the perfect show for connecting and inspiring cyclists of all ages and abilities.’

CLIF Bar is available in the UK in seven flavours: Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Almond Fudge, White Chocolate Macadamia, Crunchy Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Walnut Raisin, Blueberry Crisp and the newly launched flavour Coconut Chocolate Chip. The products are available at Boots, WHSmith, Holland & Barrett, Tesco, Asda, Ocado and a wide variety of other sports and health food retailers.
