The following industry pros are the TBI Board of Directors for 2016-17 (in alphabetical order):

“On behalf of the shareholders, I want to congratulate the new Board, and welcome our three new members,” said interim TBI President Richard Adler. “We’re looking forward to working with our membership and the industry, listening to their ideas and concerns, and continuing our efforts to support the growth of triathlon as a sport and a business.”

During the January meeting, the shareholders reviewed the organization’s operational design, its progress toward meeting goals, and decided adjustments should be made in order to ensure continued progress and success. The shareholders determined that TBI would benefit by streamlining the Board and voted to reduce the number to 13. Of the 13 members, 10 are shareholders and three are new additions from the general membership (Duke, Klingensmith, Roethenbaugh).

Triathlon Business International is dedicated to promoting the sport and business of triathlon. Founded by a coalition of industry leaders, TBI’s mission is to leverage the knowledge, talent and resources of the leaders in triathlon to the benefit of the sport by increasing and retaining advocates of triathlon and fostering a positive image of the sport.

TBI will once again host its 25,000 sq. ft. Triathlon Pavilion at Interbike on 21-23 September 2016. The 7th Annual TBI Conference will be on 22-24 January 2017 at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
