The Sufferfest, creator of the comprehensive indoor training system for cyclists and endurance athletes, has announced a partnership with activity tracker, MyZone. The collaboration will allow fitness and cycling studios to combine the display of data from the MyZone system with The Sufferfest group indoor cycling platform, giving members real-time access to advanced fitness data.

The partnership between The Sufferfest and MyZone is seen to create a unified solution for fitness clubs who want to bring structured workouts and detailed activity metrics together. Licensed facilities can now link the MyZone fitness trackers – which use Bluetooth, ANT+ and Analog technology to provide real-time feedback on heart rate, calories, and effort – with the library of workouts created by The Sufferfest.

This allows users to earn MYZONE Effort Points (MEPs) based upon the intensity of The Sufferfest workouts they complete, adding a motivational and social component to the group fitness experience.

“The Sufferfest is one of the most effective, results-oriented, and engaging indoor cycling programs out there,” said Emmett Williams, President of MyZone. “This partnership allows the tens of thousands of athletes and fitness enthusiasts who trust The Sufferfest to deliver killer workouts to benefit from the detailed fitness data and motivation that only MyZone can provide.”

“The Sufferfest has always been dedicated to helping people achieve their personal and athletic goals,” said David McQuillen, CEO of The Sufferfest. “The more insight you have into your own fitness, the more motivated you are. The more motivated you are, the faster you’ll progress. Our partnership with MyZone will help anyone who wants to get faster, fitter, or more powerful get there quicker.”

The Sufferfest is a comprehensive training platform for endurance athletes and fitness enthusiasts, whether at home or in one of the 150 licensed Sufferlandrian Embassies located worldwide. The Sufferfest Training Centre app provides access to 42 structured workouts featuring exclusively-licensed footage from the world’s biggest races, as well as yoga videos, training plans developed by world-class coaches, and the ability to connect to a range of fitness devices.
