Cycling haute couture: rh+ Bike Fashion Lab Project

rh PAINT Jersey

Having fused the technical know-how of its Powerlogic Lab with the world of fashion, cycling apparel specialist rh+ recently created the Bike Fashion Lab collection, which was developed in collaboration with its sister company, ISA SpA. Building on its recently introduced products for men, the new offering aims to put female riders centre stage.

In a release, rh+ noted that ‘This collection began as an inspirational idea and then grew thanks to detailed research, before resulting in carefully designed garments that combine graphics and technical materials.’

Bike Fashion Lab is ‘dedicated to cyclists looking for a 100% bicycle kit that is not out of context when off the bike’. The new rh+ fashion-oriented collection is ‘inspired by the latest trends in colour and motifs, that draws directly from the international high fashion catwalks’.

  • PREPPY Jersey and PREPPY top, with ‘spaghetti’ straps, play with the optical themes, adding the touch of rainbow prints;
  • VENUS Jersey, with its top and classic shorts, offers floral prints with minute, delicate details; while
  • PAINT Jersey, with top and shorts, ‘proposes vibrant colours that intersect and interweave in unique and exclusive motifs’.

Within the bibshort collection, rh+ adds that consumers ‘always find the right colour combination with the jersey as well as a wide range of gloves and socks.’

A brand of the organization Zero Industry S.r.l., rh+ is based in Lentate sul Seveso, in the province of Monza, in Italy. It designs and produces technical apparel, helmets and goggles dedicated to the cyclist who is looking for ‘performance, uncompromising quality, design and Italian style.’ Zero Industry itself develops and sells products divided into four business units: Cycling, Snow, Eyewear and Urban. rh+ has an e-commerce site and an established international distribution network that covers 22 countries, spanning Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
