US-based Raceday Transport, a national bike and gear transportation corporation, and Belgian triathlon brand endurance Junkie, which specializes in long distance triathlon race clothing, have formed an apparel-focused partnership. The deal between the two companies will provide Raceday Transport employees and its racing team members with support and gear for the 2011-2012 season.
“Our employees and racing team are thrilled at the prospect of adorning endurance Junkie apparel throughout our 30 events for 2012,” said Raceday Transport President Marc Sanders.
“The endurance Junkie style and impression melds perfectly with our company mind-set, and as a result, these will be our official company uniforms for the remainder of this season throughout 2012, and we couldn’t be happier with the arrangement.”
Sanders added, “We feel very fortunate that [endurance Junkie Managing Director] Peter Brees chose our company to represent their brand as they continue to make headway in the States.”
Raceday Transport (RDT) is a licensed and certified national transportation corporation headquartered in Lincoln, California. The company offers bike and bike gear transport to triathlon and cycling events throughout the domestic US, which ‘allows athletes to focus their concentration on the race and not on the transport.’
Founded in February 2010 by multiple Ironman finisher Peter Brees, endurance Junkie is a Belgian private limited company that is raising its profile in the key US multisport market. endurance Junkie’s aim is to develop, manufacture and sell the best triathlon gear available – focusing on quality, performance and design – based on a deep passion for the sport of triathlon in general and Ironman in particular.
endurance Junkie is also in the process of actively developing its own sponsored triathlon racing squad. The brand is looking for 10 top age groupers to wear endurance Junkie’s tri gear during the 2012 season. Applications are currently being accepted until 31 October.
