Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, three of the six events on the 2020 XTERRA Asia-Pacific Tour have been cancelled thus making a viable tour unfeasible. As such, XTERRA notes that the tour has also been cancelled for both amateur and elite participants and no tour points or titles will be awarded.
Although the XTERRA Asia-Pacific Tour has been cancelled, both XTERRA Tahiti (May 20, 2020) and XTERRA Kunming (August 30, 2020) currently remain on the schedule.
“An event status page has been posted on the XTERRA World Tour website, www.XTERRAPlanet.com/xterra-and-covid-19, where future updates will be published as they are confirmed,” said XTERRA World Tour President, Janet Clark.
“In addition, registered athletes will be informed of updates as they occur on an event-by-event basis via email, and through local and regional social media and website postings.”
