ROUVY’s previously announced features and pricing plan are coming to fruition… ‘together with multiple improvements of the racing platform for the start of the 2020/21 indoor riding season.’
ROUVY points out that its season started on October 1st, 2020 and ends on September 30, 2021.
‘For the start of the indoor training season, based on community feedback, ROUVY’s team has released multiple improvements and features to ensure the best realistic user experience for indoors.’
New features include:
- Bike Selection: TT and road bike – intro of bike selection brings riders closer to realistic speeds while making the races on the rolling terrain more fun.
- Introduction of Time-Trial and Race modes
- Drafting
- Rankings and Leaderboards update – due to the new speed model calculations all route records have been updated.
- 20/21 Career Season Start with new partners and up to US$20K in nominal prize value.
- Virtual running (public beta)
- XHALE integration
Working with treadmills and run sensors, starting on October 1st:
- Run-only users will have the opportunity to use ROUVY for free as long as they keep logging run-only activities (once ‘cycling’ is selected, they will be prompted to subscribe)
- All paying users will have the ROUVY Run feature included in their subscription and will be able to use both ‘cycle’ and ‘run’ options without any limitations and/or any additional charge.
