OSS benefits from H2Open magazine subs

UK open water swimming association, the Outdoor Swimming Society (OSS) has teamed up with H2Open, the world’s only open water swimming magazine, to help raise funds for OSS 2012 campaigns. For every OSS member that takes out an annual subscription to H2Open the publisher will donate £2.00 back to the OSS.

H2Open covers all aspects of open water from wild swimming, mass participation events to long-distance challenges. Each issue also contains a feature or two from OSS founder Kate Rew, usually sharing a great place to swim. To subscribe, and help raise funds for the organisation, OSS members can follow a direct promotional link.

The Outdoor Swimming Society believes that it’s time British swimmers had more fun. In the early 1900s there were river swimming clubs and lidos all over the country, but outdoor swimming died out as indoor pools came in. The OSS firmly believes that it’s time to get back to the joy of swimming under an open sky. After all, water needs no roof!
