The TransRockies Race Series has named Easton Cycling as the title partner of the TransRockies Gravel Royale four-day event — ‘Easton Cycling 4-Day Royal Flush’.
TransRockies and Easton Cycling will work together to grow anticipation for this new gravel event, which will be held in British Columbia, Canada, on August 23-26, 2021.
“We’ve been impressed with Easton’s commitment to creating high quality components for gravel riding,” said Aaron McConnell, President of TransRockies. “As TransRockies moves into the gravel scene we are grateful to be partnering with a premium brand like Easton and eager to host a number of riders from the Easton Overland team.”
Matt Hornland, Easton Brand Manager and Overland Team Manager, said “It’s an incredible opportunity to work with the team at TransRockies. They are renowned for their dedication to community and development of high calibre courses.
“Stepping into the gravel cycling sphere with their pedigree should make for a truly special event.”
A number of members from the Easton Overland cycling team will be attending the inaugural event this August. These athletes include Amity Rockwell, Michael Van Den Ham, and Matt Lieto. As travel and weather permits, the team will also spend some time this spring surveying the course and capturing scouting footage for the new event.
The Easton Cycling 4-Day Royal Flush will start at the Panorama Mountain Resort for stage one. Stage two starts at Nipika Mountain Resort. Riders will then travel to the Village of Canal Flats, and stage four finishes in the City of Fernie, BC.
Registration for TransRockies Gravel Royale is currently open, but according to the organising team is almost full.
