Energy firm Enea has become the sole title sponsor of IRONMAN Gdynia in Poland. The full-distance IRONMAN competition is scheduled to debut in Gdynia, on the Baltic coast of Poland, on August 8, 2021.
For the fifth year in a row, the energy firm will also be the title sponsor of the half distance Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia event.
The Enea Group has been supporting the IRONMAN brand in Poland for a number of years. The cooperation between one of the leaders of the energy market in the country and Sport Evolution, the organizer of IRONMAN competitions in Poland, has been extended for another year and also extended to the full-distance race.
“Another year in a row we will accompany the competitors of the Gdynia triathlon,” said Paweł Szczeszek, President of Enea.
“This time, on an even longer distance, we greatly admire by the strength and determination of the competitors who will fight their weaknesses on the route for so many hours. As in every year, we will be happy to provide energy to the participants of Enea IRONMAN Gdynia and Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia.”
The Enea IRONMAN Gdynia and Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia competitions are scheduled for the weekend of August 6-8, 2021. There will be 30 slots available for the IRONMAN World Championship held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

“Thanks to our cooperation, the scale of the event is growing every year. The biggest triathlon stars in the world start in Gdynia. Another year of support from Enea proves that we are going in the right direction, the best example of this is organizing IRONMAN at the full distance.
“We are thankful for the trust of our partners, especially now, in such a difficult time for the organizers of mass participation sport. We believe that our cooperation will be primarily for the benefit of all competitors participating in the Gdynia event.”
In 2021, four races under the IRONMAN brand will take place in Poland:
- Citi Handlowy IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw – June 6, 2021;
- Citi Handlowy 5150 Warsaw – June 6, 2021;
- Enea IRONMAN Gdynia – August 8, 2021;
- Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia – August 8, 2021.
Registration for all IRONMAN events in Poland takes place on the SlotMarket.pl platform. Currently, there are reportedly around 4,500 competitors on the starting lists.
