Registration is now open for the 2021 World Cycling Forum, which is being held on September 6-7, 2021, in Munich, Germany.
Organised by WFSGI (World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry), the main theme of the two-day international conference is: ‘Capitalizing on the Current Bike Boom’.
WFSGI notes that the 2021 World Cycling Forum (WCF) comes after a period of unprecedented global demand inside the bicycle industry and during a challenging time for bicycle businesses as they grow and adapt to the new post-COVID-19 normal.
The WCF conference will consider ‘the market today and the market tomorrow’ through a series of presentations and discussions that will focus on:
- Growth and challenges of online purchases
- The value of the traditional bicycle shop vs online sales
- Learning from other industries on how to deal with the shifting retail environment
- How to ensure best practice in customer care
- What the future holds for the bicycle industry
The 2021 World Cycling Forum is targeting top level management and the decision makers of bicycle and e-bike manufacturers in Europe, US and Asia. These include individuals involved in purchasing, procurement, supply chain – including CEOs, COOs and MDs of P&A (parts & accessories) manufacturers and distributors in Europe, US and Asia.
The conference is also targeting decision makers at retail chains, retail cooperatives, retail franchisers as well as industry associations and stakeholders.
The World Cycling Forum has been strategically placed between two major tradeshows for the bicycle industry: Eurobike and the IAA Mobility Show. The organisers add that conference delegates can take the opportunity to utilize their time in Germany efficiently and attend the 2021 World Cycling Forum at the Messe München Fairgrounds, in Munich, Germany.
