Columbia Threadneedle Investments, a leading global asset manager, will once again sponsor ‘Boston’s only triathlon’. Now in its 12th year, the Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon is a weekend-long event. It brings together athletes of all ages and abilities to compete in Olympic and sprint distance triathlons.
A five-year commitment, signed in 2019, has ensured Columbia Threadneedle Investments naming rights for the event through 2023. The firm originally became the title sponsor in 2015.
Columbia Threadneedle Investments notes that it sponsors the Boston Triathlon as part of the firm’s long-standing commitment to Boston and support for the community.
In addition to serving as title sponsor, Columbia Threadneedle is also working closely with the official event charitable partner, Boston Medical Center, the ‘largest safety-net hospital and busiest provider of trauma and emergency services in New England.’
