Swedish cycling apparel firm Sigr states that it is on a mission to make cyclists visible with its newly designed Biomotion clothing line.
With its high visibility cycling clothing line, the company adds that it is making a positive impact on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal Target (nr 3.6). This has an aim to halve the number of global deaths and injuries from road traffic accidents.
A Sigr spokesperson said, “Biomotion is a recognisable pattern of movement that characterises living things such as humans and animals. A moving pattern on clothes grabs our attention considerably faster than if the reflective parts are static.
“The clothes are visible 24/7 because of the carefully selected reflective and high-viz yellow material used on the moving parts. All clothes Sigr is developing have the same design for both women and men. The cut is the only thing that differs.”
Sigr is adding more products to its Biomotion clothing line because it… ‘sees a positive impact on the roads when cyclists are using high visibility clothes. The reviews customers are giving also show the attractiveness of the clothes.’
This autumn Sigr added the high-viz yellow colour to their best-selling Gotlandsleden jacket. The jacket has an inner merino layer, and has been tested in temperature down to -15 degrees Celsius.
