Le Col, the premium cycling apparel brand, has unveiled a new BORA – hansgrohe Tour de France kit, designed specifically for this year’s Tour.
In a release Le Col noted that… ‘With the world’s best known bike race beginning in little over a week, riders will soon be packing three week’s worth of kit to tour around France. Fresh from their victory in the Giro d’Italia with Jai Hindley, the BORA – hansgrohe team look forward to making an impression on this year’s edition of the race.
‘In order to help riders stand out in the peloton, and look as great as their legs feel on the opening stage, kit sponsor Le Col have produced something special for riders and fans.’
Continuing to use the same design features as the current BORA – hansgrohe race jersey and race bibshorts, the new Tour de France kit features… ‘a cooler colour for summer miles. Inspired by power and strength among teammates, the team’s Band of Brothers message runs throughout and is finished with official logo details.’
Le Col adds that… ‘Everything in this jersey’s design contributes towards efficiency, speed and airflow. Designed with performance in mind, having been tested and proven in the wind tunnel and by world leading aerodynamicists, the strategically placed tripping panels help reduce drag and improve airflow to deliver the riders their fastest package yet.
‘Using premium, lightweight, lycra with excellent breathability, the Pro Dolomiti Chamois used in the Race Bib Shorts will also keep the riders feeling comfortable throughout the whole 3,328km that lie ahead.’
