Held on August 7, 2022, Enea IRONMAN Gdynia and Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia drew participants from Poland and beyond. The full distance event had 45 slots up for grabs for the 2022 IRONMAN World Championship held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
The Enea Group has been supporting the IRONMAN brand in Poland for a number of years. The cooperation between one of the leaders of the energy market in the country and Sport Evolution, the organizer of IRONMAN competitions in Poland, has been extended for another year and also extended to the full-distance race.
In 2022, six races under the IRONMAN brand are taking place in Poland:
- Citi Handlowy IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw – June 12, 2022;
- Citi Handlowy 5150 Warsaw – June 12, 2022;
- Enea IRONMAN Gdynia – August 7, 2022;
- Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia – August 7, 2022;
- Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań – September 4, 2022;
- Enea 5150 Poznań – September 4, 2022.
