Rapha has unveiled a new apparel collection in collaboration with US-based off-road and gravel rider Sarah Sturm.
‘Bold, bright and a little bit different, the print is colourful and creative, with ‘storm’ graphics a play on Sarah’s surname and chequered graphics to celebrate her ‘no finish line’ mentality.’
Sarah Sturm, Rapha sponsored athlete, said “I am really excited about this season’s kit, behind the bright colours and bold shapes there is a story.
“The colours we see on the jersey are but snippets of an intricate pattern of storm clouds, bolts of lightning and overlapping shapes and lines. I love that the design you see is only a piece of the story. The storm is a play on my last name, Sturm and the bright colours that fill the space between the lines make it feel like a piece of abstract art.
“I am so excited to get to wear something that has some story and process behind it. I wish I could carry around a picture of the pattern it came from and how the designers created it!”
