As a celebration of women’s cycling, the Rapha Women’s 100 annual challenge tasks thousands of cyclists around the world with riding 100 kilometres however they want to.
The one day challenge, run on Strava, will mark its 10th anniversary this year when it gets underway on September 18th. The ride is targeting up to 100,000 people to mark a decade of celebrating women’s cycling.
To celebrate 10 years of the Rapha Women’s 100, the cycling apparel brand notes that it has ‘made sure the kit matches the occasion…
‘Bringing women from all around the world together to break down barriers and lift up one another, we’ve also created not one but two special edition collections with the help of some very special friends, so we can recognise each other out on the roads and celebrate women in the sport.
‘No go-getting, change-seeking, day-seizing sisterhood is complete without a uniform that sets them apart when out of the road. We doubled up on the design with the expert help of both Zuzanna Rogatty and Studio Nari. Eye-catching prints and limited-edition products, the Women’s 100 ten-year collection is celebrating in style.’
Rapha will be equipping all riders taking part in the challenge with route recommendations, available on rapha.cc, and via its regional teams and Clubhouses. In the run up to the event, Rapha will be supporting those preparing for it with training rides on Zwift and virtual workshops. Those that finish the challenge will receive a digital finisher badge, and will be in with a chance to win an OPEN U.P. bike and £1,000 worth of Rapha kit.
