Over 2,400 athletes reportedly took part in the 2022 IRONMAN Wisconsin, a part of the VinFast US Series, and IRONMAN 70.3 Wisconsin triathlons. The weekend of racing on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11 saw athletes swim, bike, and run through Madison and its surrounding countryside.
The finish was beneath the backdrop of the State Capitol building. IRONMAN Wisconsin saw veteran Brent McMahon (Canada) take the overall win in the men’s pro race. Chloe Lane (Australia) took victory in the women’s pro race with a time of 9:45:21.
The 2022 VinFast IRONMAN Wisconsin also featured live event coverage that was on IRONMAN Now and viewed on Facebook Watch, YouTube and Twitch.
On Saturday, the 2022 IRONMAN 70.3 Wisconsin triathlon saw Alfredo Ramirez Pinho (USA) and Page Schutz (USA) claim victories.
